Contagious Energy really just exemplifies who I am and how I present myself to the world. To that end, I want to make a difference in the lives of others by motivating them through business coaching, seminars, workshops and written materials with a focus on promoting the effects of a positive attitude in their every day life.

As I reflect upon my experiences and accomplishments, it is clear that my approach to life has always been influenced by my energy and that is what I want to share. I am engaged in life and I challenge myself to be purposeful and consistent in my actions. In doing so, I find that I am also challenging those around me to do the same.

I can't imagine going through life without finding a good reason to make others smile.

Business & Education Experience

I like to be challenged intellectually, physically and socially in my career as well as everyday life.  As an undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, I created my own degree. I did the same thing for my Master's Degree in Education at Norwich University in Brattleboro, Vermont.

With the entrepreneurial spirit, I have found myself starting and running a couple of businesses including Contagious Energy: 4Web, Inc, a web development company that focuses on highly customized Joomla! websites; Write Hand Gal, a content and copywriting company for small businesses. As an employee of KeyBank, I developed a very successful local networking group for women business owners under their brand called Key4Women.

The bottom line for me is to live and learn. The more I do, the more I learn and that in and of itself is how I determine if the adventure has been successful.  "It's not about the destination - It is about the trip."

Professionals Groups and Affiliations

Joomla! user Group New England- Meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Marlboro Graduate School in Brattleboro, VT from 5:30-7pm. We talk about good Joomla stories, bad Joomla stories and everything inbetween. If you are a Joomla! developer or a Joomla user, we encourage your participation. This is a diverse group with loads of talent and ideas for making Joomla sites very cool and functional!

President of Brattleboro ToastMasters Club-Meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at the Marlboro Graduate School in Brattleboro, VT from 6-7:30pm. If you are interested in becoming a more confident speaker and leader, this group is just the ticket! Whether you are petrified of speaking to your colleagues and want to improve or you are an aspiring motivational speaker, this program is designed to walk you through each step in a methodical and well planned way.

Hannah Grimes Center- A 2009 graduate of their year long Entrepreneur Project and active participant in their networking events and workshops, I am proud to be a part of this professional and supportive business community. Located in Keene, NH.
